PICKUP POOL: Campers Get Creative To Stay Cool
The hot weather expected this holiday weekend has a number of campers rethinking their plans.
At Saylorville Lake, there were a number of empty sites Friday at Cherry Glen Campground with tents no where to be seen.
RVs with air-conditioning were a unanimous choice.
But one group of campers found an even better way to stay cool. They lined a truck bed with a tarp and filled it with water.
“It’s working great, I mean it’s pretty comfortable out here you know, it’s what 105 degrees out and we’re loving this,” Tony Osmundson said.
