A man died Thursday morning when he lost control of his motorcycle during a chase with an Iowa County sheriff’s deputy.
According to the Iowa State Patrol the accident happened just before 2:00 a.m. on Iowa Highway 149 between Keokuk and Iowa counties.
Deputies say 25-year-old Tucker Morrison was speeding on his motorcycle when they tried to pull him over. Instead of stopping, Morrison sped away from the deputy.
The Iowa State Patrol says he eventually lost control of his motorcycle, went into a ditch and flipped. Morrison was pronounced dead at the scene.
