BEATING ARREST: Fourth Man Charged With Murder

Police say a fourth man has been charged in the beating death of a Des Moines man last month.

Police say a group of people attacked 40-year old Richard Daughenbaugh on August 25th in a parking lot near Second Avenue and Center Street.

Twenty-one-year-old Leprese Williams turned himself in Friday and is charged with first degree murder.

He has also been charged for willful injury for beating a witness in the case.

KeRichard Daughenbaughnt Tyler, Yarvon Russell and James Shorter, all 18-years-old, are also charged with first degree murder.

They are in the Polk County jail.

Police say they are still investigating the case.
