Eastern Iowa authorities are looking for a Dunkerton High School student who allegedly brought a gun to school last week.

Authorities are looking for 18-year-old Maryo Lindsey. He hasn’t been seen since one of his football coaches found a gun in his bag on August 30th.

Authorities say Lindsey left his bag behind while seeking medical attention after being injured during a game.

Lindsey is a convicted felon, so one of the charges against him is possession of a firearm as a felon. He also faces a charge of carrying weapons on school ground and drug possession.

Anyone with information on Lindsey’s location should contact the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office.
