SIDEWINDER CHALLENGE: National Guard Competition

The Iowa National Guard is getting ready for a little competition.

Soldiers in the 67th Troop Command are taking part in the Sidewinder Challenge this weekend at Camp Dodge.

Soldiers from all over Iowa as well as parts of Illinois and Wisconsin will be in Johnston for the competition.

The Sidewinder Challenge will challenge soldiers on tasks like shooting under stress, the Army fitness test, reacting to fire and attack and obstacle courses.

The 67th Troop Command is based in Iowa City and commands over 2,000 soldiers in the Iowa National Guard.
