Overnight, temperatures will stay mild falling to the lower 70s.

Temperatures will briefly drop to the lower 90s for daytime highs on Sunday but we will quickly warm back up to the upper 90s on Monday. Some portions of SW Iowa may hit 100 degrees on Monday, thanks to a strong SW wind.

A cold front will move across the state Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. This will bring us the best chance of rain. It will also bring lower temperatures in the 80s for Thursday and Friday.
