A new exhibit is coming to the Science Center of Iowa and it’s for those with an adventurous side.

The world premiere of the traveling exhibit Earth Explorer will open September 28th. The exhibit is put together by National Geographic.

It follows explorers as they venture into dangerous and remote parts of the world.

“This exhibition has something for everybody. If you’re an adult who grew up with the magazines or the TV shows you’re gonna love this exhibit but if you’re a kid you get to go and explore some amazing, amazing regions of the earth. The polar icecaps, you get to dive deep into the ocean and come face to face with an 11 foot great white shark,” says Eddie Newquist, Chief Creative Officer of GES.

The exhibit is open through January 12th.
