BODY FOUND: Remains Discovered In River

Authorities in central Iowa are investigating the death of a man found in a river.

Ottumwa Police responded to a call about a body in the Black Hawk River access along the Des Moines River just after 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Police said they found a middle-aged man and his identity is unknown at this time.

The cause of death is under investigation and an autopsy has been scheduled.
