Officers looking for a man found a meth lab Saturday morning.

Grinnell Police Officers were looking for 32-year-old Nicholas Etter for a probation violation but when officers arrived, they found a strong chemical smell coming from the mobile home.

When police arrived, those inside the trailer came out and admitted an active methamphetamine lab was inside.

Twenty-five year old Robert Jiron was charged with Etter for manufacturing methamphetamine.  Etter was also held on his previous warrant for probation violation.

Both Etter and Jiron are in the Poweshiek County Jail.

Police said charges for other suspects are pending and the case is still under investigation.
