Rain is finally returning to our forecast. Scattered showers will become more numerous after midnight, with rain picking up in Central Iowa by 3AM.

About a third of an inch is possible in Des Moines, while areas along Highway 30 should see higher totals, especially east of I-35 where a 0.75" or more will be possible.

The scattered showers and storms could last into Sunday morning, though most of Central Iowa should be dry by noon. More rain will be possible by Tuesday.
