Rescue crews had to help cut a semi drive from his truck after it was hit by a train Monday night.
It happened around 7 p.m. in Sioux City near Jolly Time Popcorn.
Witnesses say the truck was crossing the track when the train hit it. The truck flipped on impact, crushing the cab and trapping the drive inside. Rescue crews cut the cab of the semi open to free him.
Police say the driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities say the train sounded its horn and the lights at the crossing were working.
