A USA Today report says Iowa has one of ten best hidden state parks.
The articles say people should visit Ledges State Park. It features 300-million-year-old sandstone cliffs overlooking a deep gorge.
The article says the park is also a great place to see fall colors.
Since becoming one of Iowa’s first state parks in 1924, the park has grown to accommodate 95 campsites and 13 miles of hiking trails.
Ledges is located four miles south of Boone.
