A Marshalltown couple is facing charges after their toddler son was found wandering the streets in a dirty diaper on Sunday.

The Times-Republican reports police were called after several people taking a walk saw the two-year old boy at around 7:30 p.m.

It wasn’t until two hours later that the boy’s parents called police to report him missing.

Melissa Crusen and James Woods have been charged with child endangerment. Their son is now in DHS custody.
