The House and Senate are on day five of a partial federal government shutdown and are still stuck on a way to re-open it.
But Republicans and Democrats did find some common ground for government workers.
House Republicans and Democrats unanimously voted to pay 800,000 of the furloughed federal workers but only after the government shutdown is over.
Senate Democrats said they will support the bill and so will President Obama. But they added that they will not agree to re-fighting Obamacare and want the House GOP to pass a clean spending plan.
Despite the shutdown, the Pentagon is recalling 300,000 of its 400,000 furloughed workers.
