HOMECOMING STABBING: Ft. Dodge Teen Charged As Adult

A Fort Dodge teenager is being charged as an adult after stabbing another teen at a school dance this weekend.

Fort Dodge police say 17-year old Max Bly stabbed another 17-year old in the back on Saturday at the Fort Dodge High School homecoming dance.

The 17-year old victim was airlifted to Des Moines.  His injuries are not life-threatening.

Bly is charged with felony willful injury.  He’s being tried in adult court and could face up to 10 years in prison

Bly is being held on a $10,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 17th.
