A school bus was involved in an accident Tuesday morning injuring four students west of Oskaloosa.

The Iowa State Patrol says semi driver Kevin Greene was blinded by the sun as he approached a stopped school bus on Highway 92 at around 7:25 a.m. Greene braked veering to the right but hit the back of the bus with his trailer.

The bus had its reds light and stop sign activated.

State Patrol says four students from Leighton with ages ranging from 9 to 15 suffered minor injuries and were seen by the school nurse.

The accident is still under investigation.
