Iowa Representative Steve King will be among those compromising for a new Farm Bill.

King was named a conferee on Saturday.  He’ll be among other House and Senate Representatives at a conference committee.

The committee process is used when Congress can’t pass an important bill.

The Farm Bill expired at the beginning of the month.  The bill deals with biofuels, agriculture subsidies and food stamp funding.

Authorities announced earlier that Iowa Senator Tom Harkin will be a Senate conferee on the conference committee for the bill.
