SECRETS SERVED: Vanilla Custard

  • Whipping Cream
  • 12 oz Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Bean Paste

Whip on high for 4 to 5 minutes in a very chilled bowl until stiff peaks form.

 Zabaglione

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 to 1/4 cup of marsala wine, depending on your taste preference.

In a double boiler over simmering water mix all your ingredients until a frothy and form a thick ribbon when the wish is pulled out of the pan.  If you are whisking by had about 8 minutes.  With a electric mixer about 4 minutes.

Once the custard has formed, let it rest and come to room temp, then mix in the whipping cream and spoon over fresh berries and enjoy!
