A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and prosecution in a Des Moines homicide that happened in the parking lot of a strip club in April.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says the $4,000 reward is being offered by Polk County Crime Stoppers to find out who killed 23-year-old Reginald Bryan Jr. of Florida. Normally a $1,000 reward is offered, but a donor offered the extra funds specifically for this case.

Bryan was shot on April 28th in the parking lot of Big Earl’s Gold Mine at 4745 NW 2nd Avenue. He died from his injuries at a local hospital. Another shooting victim, 24-year-old Matthew Millsap, suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says the parking lot was crowded the night Bryan was shot, and they are confident that someone has information that will lead to a conviction in the case.

If you have any information about the shooting you’re asked to contact Polk County Crime Stoppers at 223-1400.
