IOWA CLIMATE: Researchers Present At Drake University

A statewide group of Iowa’s science faculty and researchers will release a statement about Iowa’s climate on Friday.

The statement the researchers present will cover the extreme weather, the rollercoaster seasons and the levels they expect to see in the future from Iowa’s climate.  The group will be releasing their statement, titled The Iowa Climate Statement 2013: A Rising Challenge to Iowa Agriculture.

The group will be presenting their statement in Cowles Library at Drake University at 9 a.m. on Friday.

The event is part of the Iowa Climate Science Educators Forum, where science faculty, students and researchers from Iowa colleges and universities come together to meet about climate science.  More information on the educators forum is available here.
