The DNR and Webster County Conservation will be holding a hunter safety class on Wednesday.
The course will teach ethics and fair chase as well as hunter responsibilities and landowner relations. The class will also go over safety rules and hunter requirements at the field day class.
The hunter safety class will be held at Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge from 6 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 23. Anyone in the Webster County area is welcome to attend the class.
Those who want to attend the hunter safety class must take an online class with the DNR and bring the certification of completion to the field day class.
Pre-registration for the class is required. You must be 11-years-old or older to take the class.
