The University of Iowa Hawkeyes are up against the Ohio State Buckeyes this Saturday. The game kicked off just after 2:30 p.m. at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.
The Hawkeyes are the first team on the scoreboard with a touchdown early into the first quarter. Iowa leads Ohio State with nine minutes left in the first quarter, 7-0.
But Ohio State is back in the game with a field goal, tightening up the score. The Hawkeyes remain in the lead with three minutes left in the first quarter, with the score 7-3.
Iowa scores a field goal in the start of the second quarter, boosting their lead against the Buckeyes with the score 10-3. But Ohio State comes right back with a touchdown. With 13 minutes left in the second quarter, the score is tied 10-10.
The Hawkeyes weren’t ready to settle for a tie-game. Iowa scored a touchdown with seven minutes left before half-time. The Hawkeyes lead the Buckeyes 17-10 at half-time.
The Buckeyes are back with a fight in the second half of the game. Ohio State scores a touchdown with 11 minutes left on the clock in the third quarter. The game is tied again, 17-17. And with three minutes on the clock, the Buckeyes have it again. Ohio State snags another touchdown, leading the Hawkeyes 17-24.
Iowa is back with the ball just minutes later and sprint with it into the end zone. With two minutes left in the third quarter, the Hawkeyes tied the game against Ohio State, 24-24.
Ohio State takes the lead in the beginning of the fourth quarter as the Buckeyes run the ball into the end zone for another touchdown. The Buckeyes have the lead over the Hawkeyes, 24-31.
The Buckeyes boost their lead against the Hawkeyes with a field goal. Ohio State is leading the game with five minutes to go in the fourth quarter, 24-34.
