People got to enjoy the last day of the Downtown Farmers Market. And with Halloween right around the corner, kids got to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes for trick-or treating with the vendors.

The market has come a long way since it started 38 years ago with just a few stands. Now the market has around 200 vendors.

Organizers say 15,000 to 20,000 people check out this event every Saturday. Director Kelly Foss says, “By growing incrementally and really growing with the community, I think that`s what helped our farmers market be sustainable and successful.”

Foss estimates roughly 350,000 people visited the market this year.
