The Iowa State Cyclones are down in Manhattan, Kan. to play the Kansas State Wildcats. The game against the Wildcats kicked off just after 2:30 p.m. at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
Kansas State takes the lead in the first quarter with a touchdown. Early into the first quarter, the Wildcats have the lead over the Cyclones 7-0. Just minutes later, the Wildcats scored a field goal. Kansas State now leads Iowa State, 10-0.
The second quarter is a quiet one until the last minute of the half. Kansas State rallies for one more touchdown just before half-time in the game. The Wildcats now lead the Cyclones, 17-0.
The teams are back at it after half-time but it’s Kansas State again with the ball. The Wildcats scored a field goal with 10 minutes to go in the third quarter. Kansas State leads Iowa State, 20-0.
The fourth quarter sets in and the Wildcats are on the board again with another touchdown. Kansas State boosts their lead against Iowa State, 27-0 with eight minutes left in the game.
But the Wildcats weren’t finished there, with seven minutes left in the game Kansas State pushed for another touchdown. And right away, the Wildcats are back at it. Kansas State scored a touchdown with five minutes left in the fourth quarter, leading the Cyclones 41-0.
With three minutes left in the game, the Cyclones finally make it on to the scoreboard. Iowa State ran the ball into the end zone for their first touchdown of the game. The Wildcats lead the Cyclones, 41-7.
The game ended in an Iowa State loss. The Wildcats won the game with the final score of 41-7.
