Des Moines Police are looking for a man they say robbed a gas station early Monday morning.

Officers were called to the Git-N-Go at 5736 Franklin Avenue just after midnight. The caller told police the suspect had a gun and took an undisclosed amount of money.

The man fled on foot to the east.

Police say he was wearing all black with a black hat.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Detectives will follow-up on the case this morning and will review security video of the incident.

The same Git-N-Go was robbed at least twice last year, once at the end of July, and then again two weeks later at the beginning of August.
