The Des Moines Downtown Farmers’ Market wrapped its season up on October 26th but if you’ve been missing your fix of locally grown and made products you’re in luck.

The dates for the Downtown Winter Farmers’ Market have been announced and this year the market is expanding its offerings.

The market is being held inside Capital Square at 400 Locust as well as Kaleidoscope Mall at 555 Walnut Street. The expansion into Kaleidoscope Mall allows for an additional 30 vendors to sell their wares. The locations are connected by the skywalk.

Visitors can expect to find bakery items, cheeses, locally raised meat, handmade gifts, and holiday items.

The first weekend for the market will be Friday, November 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The market will also be held December 13th and 14th.
