A Knoxville father who put a shock collar on his son won’t spend any time behind bars if he stays out of trouble.

Thirty-five-year-old Daniel Hardwick has pleaded guilty to child endangerment. A judge gave Hardwick a two-year suspended sentence.

Hardwick told a Knoxville radio station he didn’t intend to use the collar, he just wanted to motivate his son to do his chores.
