Friday is the last day to vote for the Ames team in the Pink Glove Dance contest.

Employees from the Mary Greeley Medical Center, the McFarland Clinic and the Iowa State University Thielen Student Health Center have all teamed up to win the Pink Glove Dance Contest.

The Ames group created their video submission as a way to raise awareness for breast cancer but also to showcase two women battling breast cancer, Gretchen Zitterich and Jessica Clem.

The community of Ames responded enthusiastically to the challenge of creating a Pink Glove Dance video for the contest.  Dancing along with Zitterich and Clem include community members, students, the Iowa State University Cyclones football team and of course some of the hospital and clinic staff.

The Pink Glove Dance was choreographed to the One Direction song, ‘What Makes You Beautiful’.

The last day to vote is Nov. 8.
