DEADLY SHOOTING: Arrest Made In Sioux City Murders

Sioux City police have arrested a suspect in a shooting on the city’s west side overnight that killed two people and injured another.

KTIV reports police were called to a home early Friday morning on a report of shots fired. Officers say they found a woman dead at 507 West 27th Street. Another person also died from injuries at a local hospital.

A third person suffered stabbing and shotgun wounds but is expected to survive.

Twenty-six-year-old Juan Antonio Nino-Estrada has been arrested and charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of attempted murder. Police say they believe the incident was drug-related.

The names of the murder victims have not been released.
