The Scott County Republicans held their Fifth Annual Ronald Reagan Dinner Tuesday night.
The dinner included a solid Republican line up including Iowa governor Terry Branstad, several state legislators and former U.S. senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts.
This is Brown`s second trip to Iowa this year, raising speculation about his future plans. But when asked if he wanted to run for president, Brown said this trip wasn’t about him, but about the Republican party.
“The key I think is to be more inclusive. There is room for people like me and Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, there’s room for all of us,” says Brown.
Several candidates for the U.S. House and Senate also spoke, asking those at the dinner for their vote.
