Police have arrested a Des Moines man for allegedly robbing a 19-year-old and leaving him on the side of the road, naked.
Twenty-three-year-old Nicholas Jackson is charged with first degree robbery and burglary. The victim says he was meeting with a female friend in 2800 block of SE 14th Street to return money he owed.
Two masked men got into the backseat of the car the pair were in. One was armed with a shotgun and the other with a knife.
They ordered the girl to get out and then told the 19-year-old to drive. A short time later the men allegedly ordered the victim to get out and took his cell phone, wallet and clothes.
The police report say the victim walked for over an hour to his uncle’s home.
Police have not released the name of the second suspect in the case.
