If you’re running in Saturday’s Living History Farms’ Off-Road Race, you won’t come across as many water crossings this year.
The race director says at least one of the crossings is being eliminated. Officials say they’ve been re-working the course all week to make sure it’s safe for all athletes.
The director says recent weather makes some of the areas too slippery.
Saturday marks the 35th running of the race.
Runners can pick up race packets Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning from 7:30 to 8:30.
The race, which is seven miles long, begins at 9:00 a.m.
