The coldest air of the season is here! Highs will struggle to get out of the teens today. Wind chills will be in the single digits. Skies will be sunny. Winds will be strong from the north at 10 to 20 mph, gusting up to 25 mph. The winds will be lighter by the overnight as the center of low pressure is situated right over Iowa. But the clear conditions that high pressure brings will allow temperatures to drop to the single digits.

There will be a slight warm up on Sunday and Monday where temperatures will rise back to the 20s and then the 30s by Monday afternoon. The week stays cold in the 20s and 30s with dry and sunny conditions. Thanksgiving travel looks to be excellent.
