NEAR RECORDS: Lows Tonight Near History
The coldest air of the season is here and it will result in near record lows tonight.
Wind will calm overnight, and clear skies will combine with the quite winds to let temperatures drop well into the single digits. A low around 4 is expected in Des Moines and the record for tomorrow morning is 1.
There will be a slight warm up on Sunday and Monday where temperatures will rise back to the 20s and then the 30s by Monday afternoon. The week stays cold in the 20s and 30s with dry and sunny conditions. Thanksgiving travel looks to be excellent.
