Temperatures started in the single digits this morning. Des Moines had a low of 5 degrees. That means the record low of 1 in 1950 still stands. Skies will be sunny today and a southwest wind will help with a slight warm up. Temperatures will rise back to the 20s and then the 30s by Monday afternoon. The week stays cold in the 20s and 30s with dry and sunny conditions. Thanksgiving travel looks to be excellent.
