CAR CRASH: Two Injured In Eastern Iowa

The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a car crash on Saturday night in eastern Iowa.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday night in Butler County on Highway Four, just north of Parkersburg.

Police said 16-year-old Morgan Hoolen-Hop failed to slow down as her car approached a tractor.  The two vehicles hit and her car went into the ditch.

Hoolen-Hop was taken to the hospital by paramedics for unknown injuries.  The tractor driver, 61-year-old Thomas Reints, had minor injuries from the crash.
