A 12-year-old girl who suffered from childhood cancer is now paying it forward.

Cecelia Kearney of Elk Run Heights is duct tape artist. She makes wallets, lanyards, pens, laptop cases, and purses with the sticky product.

KWWL reports the middle school student has decided to raise $500 to buy gifts for children with cancer. Kearney plans to buy board games and dolls for children at the hospital in Iowa City.

She’ll deliver the gifts on Christmas Eve.
