The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says Bondurant High School students were evacuated Wednesday afternoon after a bomb threat was found.

School officials wrote to parents telling them the threat was found in a girls’ bathroom.

The students were taken to the Middle School where another threatening message was found. This time in the boys’ bathroom.

High School students were then taken to the old north gym of Anderson Elementary. Middle School students were evacuated to nearby churches.

Parents were able to pick up their children while others took their regular bus route.

Officials don’t know when they will allow anyone back on school grounds.

This is the third threat found at the school in the past two months.
