BURGLARY CASE: Items Stolen From Restaurant

Des Moines police are investigating theft at a local restaurant.

Noah’s Ark on Ingersoll Avenue reported the burglary Tuesday. Officials say it happened sometime between midnight and 4:30 p.m.

The burglars reportedly kicked in a door, breaking the dead bolt lock of the restaurant’s shed.

The suspects took off with steel decorations and stainless steel sheeting worth about $1,000. Restaurant officials also reported graffiti on the shed.

The case remains under investigation.
