Authorities are trying to determine what caused a fatal crash in western Iowa Wednesday morning.
It happened on Interstate 29 near Sergeant Bluff after 9:00 a.m.
The Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office says a car crossed the center lane and hit a semi-trailer. A man died at the scene.
Two other adults and a boy were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The crash temporarily closed traffic in the area but all lanes are back open.
