A visitation service is being held Friday for two brothers who died after falling through the ice into pond.

Authorities say Nathan and TJ Frey were playing on a frozen pond on their family’s farm in Prescott when the ice gave way. Rescue crews tried to save the boys, but efforts to revive them didn’t work.

The boys were just nine and 11-years-old.

The visitation is from noon to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Powers Funeral Home in Creston. The funeral service is Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
