Two Newton men are being held in the Jasper County Jail on drug charges after the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force served a search warrant Wednesday.
Officers searched the home at 602 10th St. S.in Newton and found illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office’s K-9 drug detecting dog assisted in the search of the property.
Jace Troen and Conner Hayden, both 20-years-old, were taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, failure to affix a drug stamp, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sixteen central Iowa law enforcement agencies participate in the task force.
