RED KETTLES: Halfway Through Campaign
The Salvation Army says donations to the Red Kettle campaign are still low as the drive reaches its halfway mark.
Through Wednesday, the metro campaign has taken in over $577,000. That’s 12-percent less money than last year at this time.
The money is donated in the kettles, online, over the phone and in the mail.
The Salvation Army hopes to raise $1.2 million during the campaign.
