While many warm weather animals head indoors for the winter, another loves to sit outside.

The snow leopard at the Blank Park Zoo loves the cold temperatures and can be found outdoors on even the coldest of days.  Many snow leopards live in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains, enjoying the snow and cold days.

Zoo keepers said snow leopards are typically friendly, easy-going and docile animals. But don't be fooled by their kitten-like appearance, snow leopards are secretive animals and are incredibly quiet, making them hard to find in the enclosure at times.
