Clearing skies this afternoon helped us to reach 31 degrees. It will return to mostly cloudy through the overnight hours.

There is a slight chance for light snow between Midnight and 3AM. A very weak and fast-moving system will slide through the state and give us just a dusting of snow.

Tomorrow and Wednesday will be warmer. Highs tomorrow will reach the upper 30s. Expect middle 40s over much of the viewing area by Wednesday.

Thursday remains warm but there is also a chance for light rain mixed with snow by late Thursday into Friday. Little, if any, additional snow accumulation is expected.

The weekend looks cooler and dry until late Sunday.

We are closely watching a storm system that will move through the central portion of the country Sunday and Monday. This could move closer to Iowa but will certainly cause issues for travel in the Midwest for the first part of Christmas week.
