Some people spent the day outside enjoying the weather.
Tubers, skiers, and snowboarders went to Sleepy Hollow sports park for the fresh powder out on the hill on Sunday.
Over the past few weeks, the park has relied on its snow making machines to keep the slopes open. Sleepy Hollow sports park has been in business for 20 years and the owners said they sold more season passes to the park this year than ever before.
"We had some record sales and last weekend was really busy," said Outdoor Resort Manager Michel Leo.
"I was surprised because usually in the beginning of the season more people are into shopping than coming out here and it was very busy, so it was very good for us," Leo said.
Employees credit the sales to returning customers and excitement over the upcoming Winter Olympics in Sochi.
