Tim Albrecht recently resigned his position at Governor Branstad’s office to become the new Director for Redwave Digital.
Albrecht said the company focuses on gathering data, specifically on utilizing data for political purposes. He said that the company works to find out what forms of social media, like Facebook or Twitter, people use and find out what they do on these sites. Once they have that information, they can use it tailor advertisements specifically to that person and their political beliefs.
Then, Albrecht said, when the time comes they use that information to get people to go out and vote.
