WIND CHILL ADVISORY: Snow for Christmas Eve

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY is in effect in northern and central Iowa through noon Tuesday. Wind Chills may be as low as 25 to 30 below zero at times under mainly clear skies.

Light snow will be likely this afternoon and evening, with accumulations of 1-3″. Temperatures will be back into the teens as a warm front sweeps across the state. Christmas day and the rest of the week looks to be dry with a highs in the lower 30s and upper 20s.
