MAN STABBED: Fight Turns Violent In Grinnell

Police locked up a Georgia man after he stabbed a Grinnell man in a fight.

Police said 28-year-old Braxton Hoover of Georgia got into a fight in an apartment complex in Grinnell.  Hoover stabbed 31-year-old Tony Inman several times during the fight, according to police.

Police said Inman’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Hoover was charged with willful injury, assault with a dangerous weapon and child endangerment.  Police are holding Hoover in the Poweshiek County Jail.
