After a below zero start, temperatures will stay in the teens today, with little change through the week. Light snow will be possible today, spreading south on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. While the snow will never be particularly heavy, 3-day totals will still approach 2 to 2.5" in Des Moines, and as much as 4-5" in NE Iowa.
